Vanessa’s fourth race and first international event was Red Bull Romaniacs in 2021, known as the ‘toughest motorbike rally’. Transitioning to the desert terrains, she travelled to the Middle East for the 3-day Qatar International Baja race, which involves roadbook navigation - a paper scroll that provides detailed information about the course such as distance, compass bearings, and landmarks, and it is used to guide drivers through the course.

After winning the ‘Moto Enduro Cup Open Feminin’ trophy for at Rallye du Maroc in 2021, she became the first women to ever finish the gruelling 8-day Tunisia Desert Challenge. In her most recent race, the Morocco Desert Challenge, which say a 60% moto category attrition rate, she ranked 25th finishing the 8-day battle with the desert. Vanessa has now turned her skills to four wheels taking on the UK rally series in the Bowler Defender. Despite being brand new to motorsports she’s managed to claim 4th place against some veteran racers, a testament to her fearless determination.

Her latest challenge is taking on the gruelling 13 day Africa Eco Race following the route of the infamous Dakar route of 6,000km across northern Africa, finishing in Dakar.Vanessa is undertaking the Africa Eco Race in 2024 with support from Guardian Bell for full race tracking and statistics! 6000 km on a motorcycle off road following a piece of paper for navigation!! This is going to be the toughest thing she’s ever done, and she does it with chronic pain. This extremely brutal, intense and challenging off road rally begins in Monaco and continues through Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania and Senegal traversing across the unforgiving Sahara Desert all the way to Dakar.

Participants come from all over the world to take part in this incredible race, upon arrival they are equipped with nothing but an odometer, compass and a paper scroll road book and must navigate their way over more than 4,000 miles of punishing terrain during the course of 12 days.As the 'original Dakar' route this is the closest thing to what we think of when we romance of the 'Dakar' but it's more than just a race to me.

She is racing in support of Two Wheels For Life and it's the most environmentally friendly and ecologically aware rally race in the world, running a series of projects each year that help provide long term contributions to improve the lives of people in the remote areas of the countries that are raced across.
